Cozumel Itinerary - Tours and Activities

Updated: Jul 27

Cozumel is a small island off the coast of Play del Carmen, Mexico. While small, it is the largest island in the Mexican Caribbean. The island is mostly underdeveloped with less than half of it inhabited and in use. Cozumel is rich in history and its famous for its coral reefs which makes it a great place to scuba dive.

The island has it's own airport, but most people take the 45 min ferry from Playa Del Carmen. It is also one of the most popular cruise ports in the world. While you can take a quick day trip out here from Playa Del Carmen or a cruise, I recommend you actually spend a few days here as there is plenty to keep you occupied. So let's take a look at some of the great things to do while there.

Part of the job of a travel agent is to save clients time and money. I looked through hundreds of tours and picked out the best tours to book in various categories that are both the best in quality and price.

Prices listed are when booking for a single adult and are subject to change. Rates are typically discounted for larger groups and children, so use the links provided to see the exact cost for your specific scenario and book what is of interest to you.

Also check out my other itineraries for Cozumel's neighboring cities. Playa del Carmen, Cancun, and Tulum, each within an hour or two of Cozumel.
