Hello there! I'm Jacqlyne.
Over six years ago, I stumbled upon an opportunity to turn my passion for exploring the world into a thriving business. Through that journey, I became a certified Independent Travel Advisor—and I haven't looked back.
I'm an avid traveler who has touched down in over 75 countries across 6 continents. Long before launching Journeys by Jacqy, I was the resident travel expert among my family and friends. When a trip was being planned, I was the go-to person for help on everything. After hearing "You really need to start getting paid for this!" more times than I could count, I made it official.
Now, as the founder and heartbeat of Journeys by Jacqy, I run a high-touch, independent travel agency dedicated to making your travel dreams seamless and stress-free. Combining my deep love for travel, organizational skills, and a knack for securing exclusive rates and perks, I handle all the heavy lifting so you don't have to.

The Agency
When I became an Independent Travel Advisor, my original goal was simply to save on travel for myself, my family, and close friends. Eventually, I decided to put my industry knowledge to greater use and help travelers discover and live their next adventure. In 2020, Journeys by Jacqy was born.
Like many people, I spent years traveling without realizing how the industry works behind the scenes. For almost every cruise, resort stay, car rental, and vacation package you see online, a standard booking agency fee is already built into the price. When you spend weeks or months searching public sites like Expedia or Orbitz, you do all the heavy lifting of researching and planning—only for those giant platforms to keep that built-in fee.
